Wow, I forgot about Mary Higgins Clark. I grew up reading her, too. I liked her a lot more as a teenager, but I still enjoy her books :) Marissa Meyer was on my list as well. Love The Lunar Chronicles!

Marissa Meyer is a good one. I haven't read Scarlet yet, but I'm excited to get my hands on it. I liked Stephine Perkins as well. One of my favorites is Rae Carson. The Fire and Thorns series is really good.
